There are ten questions. Answer NO to all ten
Question one doesn't actually require a yes or no answer it gives you two options. The question is layed out in document "2026_160" from Elections Alberta.
Should Alberta remain a province of Canada, or should the Government of Alberta commence the legal process required under the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding provincial referendum on whether or not Alberta should separate from Canada?
Option 1: Alberta should remain a province of Canada.
Option 2: The Government of Alberta commence the legal process required under the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding provincial referendum on whether or not Alberta should separate from Canada.
I think Alberta should remain a province of Canada. Those who don't should maybe think about emigrating, North Korea maybe.
And here is an important question you need to know the answer to if you are thinking of responding with option 2.
What will be the constitution of this new country?
Probably a dictatorship with Danielle Smith as the dictator.
The rest of the questions are yes and no answers. Elections Alberta document "2026_109" containes 4 questions labled (a), (b), (c) and (d).
(a) Do you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to have provincial governments, and not the federal government, select the justices appointed to provincial King's Bench and Appeal courts?
(b) Do you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to abolish the unelected federal Senate?
(c) Do you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to allow provinces to opt out of federal programs that intrude on provincial jurisdiction such as health care, education, and social services, without a province losing any of the associated federal funding for use in its social programs?
(d) Do you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to better protect rovincial rights from federal interference by giving a province's laws dealing with provincial or shared areas of constitutional jurisdiction priority over federal laws when the province's laws and federal laws conflict?
These questions give you a feel as to what sort of country Danielle Smith and her UCP party would like to create. Where laws are instantly implemented without the any allowance for sober second thought. Where the dictator can tell the justices what to do and sack them if they don't comply.
The rest of the questions are also yes and no answers. Elections Alberta document "2026_110" containes 5 questions labled (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e).
(a) Do you support the Government of Alberta taking increased control over immigration for the purpose of decreasing immigration to more sustainable levels, prioritizing economic migration and giving Albertans first priority on new employment opportunities?
(b) Do you support the Government of Alberta introducing a law mandating that only Canadian citizens, permanent residents and individuals with an Alberta-approved immigration status will be eligible for provincially-funded programs such as health care, education and other social services?
(c) Assuming that all Canadian citizens and permanent residents continue to qualify for social support programs as they do now, do you support the government of Alberta introducing a law requiring all individuals with a non-permanent legal immigration status to reside in Alberta for at least 12 months before qualifying for any provincially-funded social support programs?
Here the wording is interesting. Implying that there might be a time when Canadian citizens and permanent residents might not qualify for social support programs.
(d) Assuming that all Canadian citizens and permanent residents continue to qualify for public health care and education as they do now, do you support the government of Alberta charging a reasonable fee or premium to individuals with a non-permanent immigration status living in Alberta for their and their family's use of the healthcare and education systems?
Same wording here. Implying that there might be a time when Canadian citizens and permanent residents might not qualify for healthcare and education.
(e) Do you support the Government of Alberta introducing a law requiring individuals to provide proof of citizenship, such as a passport, birth certificate or citizenship card, to vote in an Alberta provincial election?
These questions tell you that Danielle Smith and her UCP party are racially biased.
What the UCP and seperatists don't realize is that as soon as the referendum results are in and if the majority of Albertans vote for separation then the BC government will
immediatly shut down trans mountain.
